This man simply accomplished so many things throughout his career. Different obstacles, surroundings, and decisions would make or break his achievements for as long as he would live. And of course, it does not hurt that he chose to play for my beloved Tarheels and my favorite all time coach, Dean Smith. Now that was 2 great decisions. Those two great decisions aside, I admire Michael Jordan the most for his attitude towards being the best. He had no desire to be standard, to be in the back, or to be average. He would push himself to work harder than anyone else and at times would not accept blending in. Because of this the old and young generations today know who Michael Jordan is. People in other countries even remember that name.<\/p><p>Stay with me on this now&#8230; So where is all the spiritual Michael Jordans in Gods corner? You know. Those Christians that will not take no for an answer. Who will not just blend in but is willing to show out for the cause of Christ. They are willing to stay on their knees a while longer. Talk to more people and tell someone about who God is in their lives. Someone who is willing to just say I do not want to be average. I want to be great for the cause of Christ. And I want other people to see just how great Jesus is through me!! You do not have to say it. I will. Amen brother David.<\/p><p>But where is the proof of what I am saying? I am so glad you asked. Look at our verse again. Did you see the first part? Now tell me who wrote the Bible. You got it. God did. So, he said these words. Not me. Whatever, I ever will do, to give it my all. Greatness is in me, and it is in you. How do I know? Because God made you and me. And God does not make junk. He made us in His image. And because of that, we have something in us that goes unused often throughout our life. It is just as simple as trying harder to do the best we can. After all, God commanded it. This includes EVERYTHING we do. The job we work at. The ministry we do. All the way to the smallest detail to us like sweeping the floors. No detail to God is small. So, it should not be to us.<\/p><p>I do not know about you, but I want so badly to be remembered by both the older and younger generations. I want to be remembered for not being average. I was not formed by an average God. I was not saved by an average Savior. And I was not called into ministry by an average Lord. It was by the great King of Kings. And Lord of Lords. Jesus did not come here to be average. And we are not here to be average.
