Growing up as a kid I was told no from my mom more than others. \u201cNo, you can&#8217;t jump over the creek on your bike.\u201d \u201cNo, you can&#8217;t shoot your sister with a BB gun,\u201d or \u201cNo, you can&#8217;t go swimming right after you eat.\u201d She even told my cousin and I that we could not go to the store up the road to get my favorite, Mountain Dew. And everyone knows how much I love Mountain Dew. Well, I bet you can guess what I did in all cases above. She said \u201cNo\u201d and I said \u201cYes.\u201d And every time there were consequences. But we forget about times He says YES. In my ministry alone I count all the No\u2019s every time they happen. I almost have an exact number. But when I stopped and dwelled on the YES, I concluded that the more No&#8217;s I get the BIGGER the Yes was when it happened. This is who God is. He can and will turn around everything that we think is bad and make it something GREAT. The No that He has given you and I right now just mean that He is getting ready to send a GREAT BIG YES, soon.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-110eb53 cmsmasters-block-default cmsmasters-sticky-default elementor-widget elementor-widget-text-editor\" data-id=\"110eb53\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<p>Five times in these short verses above God uses five pronouns to remind us of who He is. It is sad that He must remind us so much as if we forget. And obviously He knew we would. Many times, in our Bible he needs to remind us that He still controls all. Look at it this way&#8230;<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-c69726a cmsmasters-block-default cmsmasters-sticky-default elementor-widget elementor-widget-text-editor\" data-id=\"c69726a\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<p><strong>God&#8217;s sovereignty<\/strong><\/p><p>God&#8217;s sovereignty means that he is in control of everything, and nothing is outside of his power.<\/p><p><strong>God&#8217;s omniscience<\/strong><\/p><p>God&#8217;s omniscience means that he knows everything, including the future.<\/p><p><strong>God&#8217;s unchangeable will<\/strong><\/p><p>God&#8217;s unchangeable will means that his intentions are deliberate and will not change.<\/p><p>Does it feel like you are being told No a lot lately by God? Does it seem like you can count all those times? Well, you are in good company.<\/p><p>When God says NO! This just means that God is going to give you a BIGGER YES. And that is our God. The God. The only God.
