Have you ever been angry about something that just turned out to be so irrelevant? Like that fast food line that is no longer FAST. Or that person in front of you at the convenient store wants to give the exact change and take their time doing it. All you want to do is just pay for gas. Or how about the long red lights that you are waiting for to turn green, what seems like an eternity. Better yet, those that drive slow in the passing lane on the highway. Mind you of course that these things are what people have told me about and that makes them angry. Not my own experience of course. Sorta makes me wonder what made the kid in the picture so angry. Was it the tie around his neck chocking him? The 80\u2019s coat that mom made him wear when it was 100 degrees outside. Or the simple fact that no male wants to get his picture made. Whichever it is I can assure you it makes no difference now because it is all said and done.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

I wonder what makes we as Gods children angry? How long does this anger last? And what do we do about it? Can I give you something to think about before we head to church tomorrow? Can I say that anger is not a terrible thing? It can be of excellent quality in our lives if used in the right way. We find God getting angry and Jesus when He walked this earth. But every time we find God and Jesus angry at the sins of humankind. In our verse above we find Moses coming down from the mountain because God had told him to get back down to His people (Study here to find out why God called them Moses people instead of His own). They had gone and created a golden calf to worship because they thought Moses was not coming back. When Moses got to the bottom he could see and hear the people had done something sinful. They had forgotten all about what God had done for them. When he saw this the Bible says his anger waxed hot. Other words this anger would not go away quickly. He was so mad he threw down the tablets so hard that they broke. The very tablets that God had just given him. I can only imagine how mad he was that day. I would not want to go back to that day.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t
